What I keep, and why.

This site collects as little as it can get away with. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no cookies beyond the one Rails needs to keep a form submission secure.

What I collect

Two things, and only when you hand them over. The contact form takes your name, email address, optionally your company, the kind of work you have in mind, and your message. The newsletter takes an email address and nothing else.

Why I collect it

To reply to you, and to send the newsletter you asked for. That is the whole purpose. Your details are never sold, rented, published, or used to build a profile of you.

Who else sees it

Email is delivered by Resend and the site runs on Render, so both necessarily process what you send in transit. Enquiries arrive in a Google Workspace mailbox. Nobody else has access.

How long it is kept

Enquiries stay in my inbox as long as the conversation is useful to either of us. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe — every newsletter carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and using it deletes nothing less than the whole subscription.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I will do it. No form to fill in and no justification required — just email and say so.

Cookies

One session cookie, set by Rails to stop forged form submissions. It holds no personal data, it is not shared, and nothing here is tracked across other sites.
